Vertical Car Parking System
In metropolitan cities, vehicle parking has become a major concern in all busy areas and a multi stage car parking is a solution to this. We have designed a vertical car parking system which can park 12 cars within a parking area of 26.5 square meter. The chain and sprocket mechanism are used for driving the parking platform and a 20 HP motor is implemented for powering the system and indexing the platform. We have a complete digital design of this system which is jointly developed with Siemens CoE in Manufacturing, NIT, Trichy.
